WARD 7

To be eligible to vote in Ward 7 you or your spouse must reside in Ward or you or your spouse must own property in Ward 7.

Voting INFORMATION 

Election day is October 26, 2026. Voters can vote on election day, during advance voting locations ) or by mail-in voting (registration between September 1 and 24). 

Voting Times

  • Election day is Monday, October 26 from 10 am - 8 pm

  • Advance voting is Tuesday, October 6 to Sunday, October 11 from 10 am - 7 pm

Voting Eligibility 

You are eligible to vote if you are: 

  • a public school supporter;*

  • a Canadian citizen; and

  • at least 18 years old; and

  • a resident in the city of Toronto; or

  • a non-resident of Toronto, but you or your spouse own or rent property in Toronto; and

  • not prohibited from voting under any law.

Students

If you are a Toronto resident, but are studying in another Ontario municipality, you may be eligible to vote in both municipal elections.

Identification

Voters do not require photo ID, only identification showing name and qualifying Toronto address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill etc).

Public School Supporter

As per legislation, your school support defaults to the English Public school board (TDSB). The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) manages school support designations. To learn more about school board designations and/or to change your school board designation, please visit mpac.ca/schoolsupport.

The deadline to review and update your school support designation through MPAC for the 2026 Municipal Election was June 1, 2026.
