Tasha is running because…
“I believe every child deserves access to an excellent public education, every parent deserves to be heard, and every teacher deserves a safe, respectful working environment. My experience as Chair of the RHSA School Advisory Council this year and as an involved parent since 2014 has taught me the power of parent advocacy and the importance of listening to our school communities. I want to bring accountability and good governance back to the TDSB, so the province can end supervision, and we can build a better TDSB for all.”

- Ensure real consequences. Serious and repeated misconduct requires appropriate action.
- Support educators. Give teachers and principals the backing to maintain safe classrooms.
- Track results. Measure repeat incidents and whether interventions are working.
Excellent Education
Every student deserves strong academics and opportunities to discover their talents. Tasha will:
- Master the fundamentals. Prioritize literacy, math, science and core skills.
- Champion arts and athletics. Support music, drama, visual arts and sports.
- Focus on what works. Invest in programs that measurably improve learning.
- Protect learning time. Keep classrooms focused on teaching and achievement.
Responsible Spending
Every education dollar should deliver maximum value for students. Tasha will:
- Put classrooms first. Redirect savings to students, teachers and schools.
- Review spending. Independently examine procurement and major contracts.
- End purchasing monopolies. Insist on transparent, competitive purchasing.
- Measure value. Keep programs that work; rethink those that don't.
Accountable Leadership
A trustee should be the community's voice at the Board. Tasha will:
- Listen first. Consult families before major decisions.
- Respect communities. Give local voices real weight.
- Be accessible. Show up, respond and keep parents informed.
- Answer to you. Explain my decisions and how I vote.
